The Center For Spiritual Well-being
In an age where materialism has run rampant leading to lifestyles of opulence, often multiple addictions and a general lack of empathy, many find themselves struggling with often severe mental/emotional stress, anxiety, loneliness and a low level depression that seems to practically permeate all aspects of society.
Add to that mix a lack of spiritual/emotional support for those who are struggling, we find ourselves in a situation where many feel truly alone.
The Center For Spiritual Well-being is designed to be a true haven for all those searching for more meaning, purpose and true community. A place where dreams can come true and where you never feel as though you are working/serving alone.
Our basic model is based on Members contributing their talents/skills/expertise in whatever way they are able to in order to enhance this center. And so, in a sense, it is more like a co-op model.
Membership is a sliding scale so that NO ONE gets turned away.
This Center will be open 24/7 and it will feel like a five star spa.
There will be healthy meals, smoothies, elixirs, juices.
These centers will be run by members ~ each member will contribute as much time, energy and resources as possible. For example, say one member owns a beautiful cottage that perhaps is only used a few months of the year, they may choose to offer other members the opportunity to use it.
The Shema, The Central Prayer in Judaism, says,
"Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
Love Adonai your G-d with all your heart,
with all your soul
and with all your resources."
~ Deuteronomy 6:4-5
And so, the more who share what they have (resources) the more others benefit and the better,
more G-d like the world becomes. One feels good when we truly help someone else have a better experience of life. A little fragrance always clings to the hand that gives you roses.
Our vision is to create our first model center and then create a franchise opportunity so that others can open similar centers in the location of their choice. Centers will be connected to other ones around the globe. Some will be in cities, others more rural, in tropical locations...
